Field Adjusted SEER is not a well known subject….although it should be.   In fact it should be more important than the SEER Rating of equipment because the SEER rating of equipment is not a problem.  Equipment will perform at, or very near, the SEER rating if it is engineered, installed, configured and charged properly by installing contractors.  But studies and research have shown that.
